Store Policy

The following Terms and Conditions apply to the use of this Web site as well as all transactions conducted through the site.

  • REFUNDS

    Returns for a refund will be processed back to the original form of payment.  Refunds are available to customers living 100 miles or more beyond the Metro Detroit area who cannot shop in the physical store location.  Customers who live, work, and shop in the vicinity of the store location can bring nonclearance shoes and boots back for exchange and/or in-store credit.  In-store credit has no expiration and can be used any time.

    EXCHANGES

    Exchanges are processed based upon availability of in-stock items.
    In an event the exchange is not available, the customer will be notified right
    away.

    RETURN POLICY

    Returns are accepted within 21 days after purchased date.
    Merchandise must be returned in new/unworn condition with all of its original
    packaging (i.e. shoebox, tissue wrap, dust bags, etc.).  Customers can state
    the method of shipment and provide a tracking number via e-mail when
    returning merchandise.

    To qualify for returns, please be sure to package all contents
    inside a shipping box or polybag. Any returned packages with missing or damaged
    contents will be charged up to 30% restocking fee (unless authorized prior to
    return).

    ALL SALES ARE FINAL for accessories (jewelry, handbags, belts).

    Customers are responsible for the return shipping. Original
    shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Designer Shoes does not
    accept COD (cash on delivery) which will be refused with the shipping courier.
    Returns are processed within 3-5 business days after package has been delivered
    to us. A confirmation e-mail will be sent after the return has been fully
    processed, with your refund or exchange details.

    INCORRECT / DEFECTIVE ITEM

    In the event that an incorrect/defective item is received, please
    contact us right away and we will have this resolved for you.

    All defective items will be thoroughly inspected and determined by
    Designer Shoes. We reserve the right to request for photos of the defective
    item before we authorize the return. Designer Shoes is not, under any
    circumstances, responsible for "worn" damages (wear and tear,
    stretching, fading, etc). Any returned merchandise with obvious signs of wear
    will be refused and returned to the customer at the customer expense or charged
    up to 70% restocking fee.

    UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES

    Packages returned with failure delivery (multiple delivery
    attempts, insufficient address information, refusal, cancelled after shipment,
    etc.) will be subject to a $10 restocking fee. Restocking fee will be applied
    to the final refund amount. If the customer would like us to reship the item,
    customer will need to contact us prior to the refund, to process his/her
    request. Reshipping charges may occur (varies by case).

    RETURN INSTRUCTIONS

    Step 1: Fill out the return
    form that is located is included with the item. Please note: Any returned
    packages received with no return form will be delayed in processing.

    Step 2: Package all contents in a shipping box or wrapping. Original boxes and
    tags must be included with your item. Packages received with shipping tape or
    postage label attached on the original shoe box will be refused or may be
    subject to an additional 30% restocking fee.
